Photography for the main image.
Look of the person: The person needs to be looking confident, as he will be posing as if he was an artist. Showing confidence shows that dan (my model) will look professional. I want the model to be Dan and want him to replicate a pose i saw on the billboard magazine front cover of 50 cent, i want Dan to look serious and pose the same as 50 cent did in the image i saw.
Background: The background can be simple and plain colours such as white, black and other plain colours as it will make the main image stand out  due to the masthead colour. The background could be plain green with the masthead colour changed to either black or white, which are the other two colours that should be the main throughout the magazine. I will make the man image in good lighting as the image will stand out from the background.
