Brand identity and ideology of billboard magazine.





Billboard magazine:

Billboard is an American entertainment media brand. It publishes pieces involving news, video, opinion, reviews, events and style. Billboard is also known for its musical charts Billboard Hot 100 and billboard 200. The magazine is in all different genres of music. The target audience of billboard for Billboard magazine varies from young teens, from the age of 16, to young adults, at the age of 26. This is because the magazine provides its readers with the latest updates from the charts, but of different and various types of genres appealing to a wide audience. On their front cover they mainly promote well known artists which fans will easily see and draw attention.They keep the colours on the front cover fairly the same as they use around 3 colour tones on the magazine. They use cover lines to interest the reader which has information about other artists. They value their audience as they produce magazines which people will be interested in reading as their favourite artist is on the front cover.
